Ratios are the number of adults assigned to care for children as set my Ofsted:

1 adult for every 3 babies (under 2)
1 adult for every 5 toddlers (2 years)
1 adult for every 8 preschoolers (3–4 years)

These are the legal minimums that most nurseries follow. But here’s the thing — just because something is allowed doesn’t mean it’s right for your child.
