Funding

As we operate year-round, the government’s term-time funding is stretched over the 50 weeks we are open. This means:

15 funded hours per week are stretched to 11.4 hours per week

30 funded hours per week are stretched to 22.8 hours per week

To support the quality of care and resources we provide, a consumable fee of £1 per hour is applied to funded hours. This covers essential items such as nappies, food, milk, and other consumables, which are not included in the government funding. Which is all included in the above fees.

We offer 'funded only' spaces, whereby additional hours do not need to be purchased and children can attend 2 x 5 hour sessions per week, utilising 10 of your 11.4 funded hours a week, all year. With just the consumable charge of £1 per hour to pay - check out our Funded Placement page here.
This includes those with FEET funding - those who have FEET funding do not need to pay the consumable charge.

Children eligible for 'Parent Entitlement' funding, must apply for their code the term before they wish to start nursery. You can see if you are eligible by visiting the Childcare Choices website. Once you have your code, you can pass it to us to use for your child's space.

For children over 2 years old with SEND, that either require a Surrey Support Plan or for those who have an EHCP - we offer term time only sessions to access their full 15 hours as part of our 'Robins' class which is specifically designed for early intervention techniques to help children progress at their own speed, on very enhanced ratios  and in a group of just 6 children. You can find out more about how settings support children with SEND on the Surrey Council Local Offer Page.
