Let’s be honest — when most nurseries say “free childcare,” there’s usually a catch. A few funded hours here, some extra charges there, and before you know it, that “free place” is costing more than expected.

At Wonderbloom, we do things differently.

If you’re eligible for government-funded childcare hours from September, we make sure you get the full benefit — with no hidden charges, no awkward top-ups, and no pressure to pay for extras you don’t need.

From September, many families will be eligible for 30 hours of funded childcare. At Wonderbloom, you can use that funding in a way that’s actually useful to you:

  • 15 hours of funding = 1 full day completely free

  • 30 hours of funding = 2 full days completely free

No complicated restrictions. No short morning-only slots. Just simple, full-day childcare — at no cost to you. Ever better, we are open all year - so we stretch your funding!


🧡 What You Get (Even When You Pay Nothing)

We don’t believe free should mean “bare minimum.” Even if you’re not paying a penny, your child gets:

  • A full day in a calm, nurturing, high-quality nursery

  • Staff who know and understand them personally

  • Small class sizes with enhanced adult ratios

  • A consistent key person who builds a real relationship with your child

  • Purposeful play, outdoor time, and gentle routines

  • Access to events, celebrations, and our full curriculum

  • Optional extras like meals and nappies (available through our all-inclusive £10 package — or you can bring your own!)

Want to make life easier? For £10 per funded day, you can opt into our all-inclusive package, which covers:

  • 3 full meals

  • 2 snacks

  • Milk

  • Nappies, wipes, cream, nappy sacks

  • Suncream

  • All internal celebration activities

  • Family events and more

Prefer to bring your own? That’s completely fine too.We don’t charge extra or make you feel like you have to opt in.
