We know funding can be confusing — and we also know that not every family needs full-time childcare. That’s why at Wonderbloom, we do things differently.

Whether you qualify for 15 or 30 hours of funded childcare, we’ve designed our funding model to work with you, not against you.

🧡 Here’s the Difference

Unlike many nurseries, we apply funding to your whole session and we don't force you to book lots of extras to access what you’re entitled to.

Instead, we take your 15 or 30 funded hours and apply them across the full day, so your child can attend one to three days per week - depending on if you come term time only or all year/.

We offer consumables like nappies, wipes, suncream and a full menu - but you don't have to opt in to it, you can provide your own!

✅ Real Examples – How It Works

Let’s say you qualify for:

• 15 hours funding ➝ You can use it to cover one full day (10 hours)

• 30 hours funding ➝ You can use it to cover two full days (20 hours) all year or three full days (30 hours) term time.

• We are open all year, so we stretch your funding so you can access it across the whole year if you choose, or you can come term time only and use your 30 hours in the term.

And that’s it - no need to book short sessions across the week, no awkward 9–12 slots, no pressure to buy “extra hours” just to access your free ones.

We know parents have lives, jobs, and routines that don’t always run in neat 3-hour chunks - so our model reflects real-life.

• Cap your funded hours to mornings or afternoons only

• Force you to attend three or more days to “access” your funding by splitting it into chunks

• Split sessions awkwardly so you’re paying for a top-up every time
